P3 Lemon Ginger Garlic Asparagus

Healthy Asparagus side dish

  • Yields: 1 vegetable, 1 lemon


1Cut off ends of asparagus spears and discard.

2Snap spears into 2-3 pieces.

3Add garlic & ginger to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

4Add asparagus and water.

5Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.

6Remove asparagus and top with lemon juice and pepper, then serve.


1 c. asparagus

1/2 c. water

1/2 TBSP fresh ginger root, minced

3 cloves garlic, minced

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Black Lemon pepper
