P2 Broiled Grapefruit with Vanilla and Ginger

Broiled vanilla ginger grapefruit

  • Yields: 1 serving, 1 fruit


1Cut a medium to large grapefruit in half.

2You may choose to use a sharp knife to segment around the edges of the grapefruit for easier access. Sprinkle grapefruit half with vanilla powder and fresh grated ginger.

3Add a few drops of Stevia, up to one for each segment and place under the broiler for approximately 3-5 minutes until the ginger and rind start to brown.

4Allow your grapefruit to cool slightly and serve warm.


1/2 grapefruit

1/8 teaspoon vanilla powder

1/8 teaspoon ginger, freshly grated (Substitute powdered or bottled)

Vanilla, pure stevia, or Valencia Orange flavored Stevia drops to taste
