Sweet and Sour Meatballs P2

  • Yields: 1 serving. 1 Protein, 1 Melba.


1Combine ground beef with Melba toast, minced garlic, onion and spices.

2In a small saucepan heat the lemon juice, Bragg’s and Stevia to taste.

3Form small meatballs and add to the sauce.

4Simmer for about 10 minutes.

5Deglaze the pan periodically to create a rich sauce.


100 grams lean ground beef (less than 7 percent fat)

2 tablespoons of minced onion.

1 clove of garlic crushed and minced.

1 serving Melba toast crumbs.

Pinch of garlic powder.

Pinch of onion powder.

Pinch of cayenne pepper.

¼ cup lemon juice.

1 tablespoon Bragg’s liquid aminos.

Stevia to taste.
